When we want to start our Blogging Journey there is excitement mixed with apprehension.
Its an exciting and Intimidating process.
Questions swirl around our head making us nervous and scared to start well let me just give you some comfort all of us bloggers go through the same exact thing the nervousness the butterflies the self doubt the comparisons, But here’s the thing…
You just have to start!
And when you start your gonna be “banging around in the dark” for a little but that’s okay, because everyone who starts anything new bangs around in the dark until they get their bearings.
and even when you start to get the hang of blogging and posting and incorporating an income strategy and building an email list your still gonna make mistakes but don’t take on the mindset that you cant do it
Take on the mindset that its an adventure and all your trying to do is beat one level at a time.
When starting just keep it simple don’t overthink it
Keep it simple and consistent once you get the hang of your setup and the platform your using, your blogging style, you’ll see a natural progression towards more intricate details and you’ll learn how to incorporate those new facets into your blog naturally;don’t force it.
Keep focused on your Niche
Any niche your choose can be profitable if you have a great focus; consistent content and valuable information.
From gardening to sculpting to board games; they all can make you income but Consistent Quality Content is what determines how much you make and how how big your brand becomes.
Building An Audience
Pick 1 or 2 social media platforms to Master and use for your free or paid traffic options.
Go all out learning as much as you can because in the long run the more you understand the platform your marketing on the more you’ll get out of that platform.
My Go-To Platforms When Starting A New Blog…
- -Youtube
These 3 platforms have worked the best for me when first starting a new blog, In that order.
Understand what your target audience does on your chosen platforms.
- What groups they stick to.
- Where the most engagement is.
- Be apart of the social aspect of social media that’s how you build re-pore with people that will become your audience.
That’s how you build a great presence.
Writing your first blog post.
What your write for your first blog post is completely up to you and what your brand is.
Some bloggers will tell you to make your first blog post about yourself and your brand.
Some will tell you to jump into whatever topic you want to write about and build your brand around it as you go along.
Whatever way you choose to start your blog my rule of advice is.
Keep It Simple!
Don’t make it complex you dont need to write a dissertation.
Remember your blogging because your enjoy it.
“Don’t fall into the perfectionist trap”.
Your blog posts don’t need to be 4000 words unless you want it to be but that’s your choice but its easier to start with something small.
Starting small and being consistent will guarantee you success.
